Just Playing

I was found in a gutter ditch dirty muddy and wet
I shook myself off and I meowed at the Fireman who picked me up into his arms
See I never
knew my mama or my papa so the warmth of his hands felt real good
He took me to his home and fed me some sort of tuna fish
I met his two kids who rubbed me to their faces and gave me a kiss
I guess I'll be okay with this new founded family
Just happy someone rescued me before it was too late
I was lost but now I have been found
That's what happens when you are just
running around, just playing
