Just Sing

Just Sing

I believe in things that others wouldn't even think.
I write them down in my book with ink.
No, not with ink from a pen.
Ink from a Hawk's feather, I found near a foxes den.

I believe the dreams that I have during the night.
Those that come true, give me power, not fright.
I came from Scotland but my beliefs are not the same.
You think I was adopted or playing a game.

After my momma past a hawk flew by.
It eased my pain and helped me not to cry.
I listen to nature as it tells me different things.
I watch the Eagle fly over, such wide wings.

The spirits I see bring me courage and strength.
I fought these beliefs with great lengths.
I decided if its comfort they do bring.
Why not accept them, carry on and just sing.
