KERBSIDE THRONE ROOMS----ONE LIFE TAKES ONE NIGHT

Dropped  the cliffs trimmed edge
im drinking where you sell
those stitches earn't
just to keep the worthy wound around

her eyes bleached by such salty seas
drip visions into pale circles
streams full of echos
last drowning thought
trickle past this face
I loaned for a nights passage
into grace and hells painted portraits

melting daggers
scorch and blind
sweet booze blues
matched me back in heavens roam

stooping down amongst
the naked clowns
spreading the deck
with hearts in paper suits

Deaths anger
stills in mornings misty pour
seated on kerbside thrones
I clap in tunes sodden field
hear the crowded fleeing street cheer

She raised the shifting sands
which poured from the lips
burnt dunes
drifting sins
kissed in bedrooms honour
dusted dues hang
on silver chains

ANOTHER NIGHT
ANOTHER CRASH COURSE
AS I WALKED AWAY
FOLLOWED BY THE EVENINGS
WHISPERING VOICE
