Killing Devil's

Killing Devil's

I took a train, west, to Tuam
With A cannister of fuel in my hands
And fire at my finger tips

Tuning my six string
Dipping silver bulletsΒ
In nursery rhymes

Stumbling past the graves
Of dead babies
Loading revolvers
I played them a lullaby

There tears soaked this red land
Dragging me down
And they wispered in my ear
No more blood shed
In this Catholic town

I said one last shot
To ring out the end
Now cover your ears children
I'm taking this priest to hell
