'LADY OF THE CELTIC MOONS'

'LADY OF THE CELTIC MOONS'

She never spoke an utter word
Yet all she said was always heard
Upon four realms
A Priestess ruled...
'Lady of the Celtic Moons'...

This goddess never gave away
Emotions vacant from her face
They held no place for others eyes
To make a judgement..then decide
What she was thinking
No smiles wide
No tears would fall
Behind her walls
This was the only face she wore
And that is all they ever saw...

She never moved an arm or leg
She wouldn't even turn her head
Most people thought that she was dead.
"A physical spirit..."
Most of them said.

She would hover high above them all
Right there....In mid air
"A ghostly soul..."
Most of them stared
In absolute awe

Apart from one
Who noticed more
She had something that
No other saw..
And etched
Upon his beating heart
Were her words
"My other part...."

Her mystic presence held such might
Protecting all four realms in light
But in the darkness
He would wait
He had to know
What was his fate..

For many years they would converse
But only through subconscious verse
His question to this Priestess... first
"Are you even from my universe..?"

And only he found out about
Every question...answered now
For centuries and lifetimes old
He had been a part of her soul
Thus a second question
Did unfold...

"Why did you wait?
Now it's all too late..
Your physical self
Has crossed that gate..."

And this is when he found out his fate...

The Priestess then spoke
As he collapsed...
Then choked.

"I have yearned to be with you forever
Watching our lives come closer together
And finally you have found your feathers
For so many lifetimes
I did follow
Yet your soul was empty
Full of sorrow
And I knew I still had to wait for tomorrow
I lingered in eternal pain
When all those tomorrows never came..."
"And then today my love...
I spoke your name..
As you die here before me ...
I have no need to reign
All I have longed for was
To hear you do the same...
"

And for the very first time
The Moon Goddess smiled
As he spoke her name
And a tear drop rained

"Kalindra.... my love
Moon Goddess in vain
Let us finally be one
Never waiting again
For tomorrow has come
And in death
We remain....
"
