Last chapter

Am I going crazy,  please tell me you feel the same 
These ongoing battles, who do we blame 
People in fear of living, what does it bring 
No comfort or shelter, no happy song to sing 

Homless man suffering with mental health 
Rich man dying, what’s the point in wealth 
A racist beat a person and left him to die
A hungry child left to cry 
A girl eats alone because of her culture 
A young boy in gang,  wait for bait like a vulture 
A mum and dad feeling lost, no money to spare 
Another troubled teen running away from care
Another building down, a bomb lights up the sky 
A mad man running loose, killing people, we don’t know why 

Why is it getting worse, what will be the last chapter 
Let hope for the ones, who want  to save our world that it’s a happily ever after
