Last Dance

Last Dance

Lyrical frail in coronet,
Ambience astute of clarinet.
Petals of cherry blossom in float,
She sways and savours each note.
Orange in fade sunset exquisite,
She dances in elation beneath celestial limits.

She favours smells and memories of old,
Steeped in nostalgia rich in gold.Β
A gift to be treasured not measured against all,
One last dance entranced before fall.

She ushers her days away to the past,
Like colours of rainbow not meant to last.
She rhymes each lyric in flutter astound,
Exhales in triumph in mirth profound.
