Lighten Up

Last One

Yeah, I know another miserable poem... better on here than in my head. Thank`s for everyone's support. Maybe even a love poem coming soon. No promises Lol...

I feel away,
That`s hard to say,
Like an epic battle,
Mind in a state.

Why is it so easy,
For others to simply connect
Am I wired differently?Β
Or are these rules exempt

Why whenever I see someoneΒ
Do I feel hostility
A paranoia
Grown from wet rotten bridges

Because when I gaze their look,
I never see people,
Sometimes they are impressive,
Down to Earth and grounded.
Sometimes they are predictable,
Immature and easily to manipulate.

But never have I seen my people
The ones that see through my disguise,
Stuck in my head but surrounded by lies
Dreams shredded with long knives

So on one foot, I`ll stand
Kick me further.
Kill my mand.
What`s it worth?

If I`m Losing who I am
The Fish of the Sea.

Jim "The Lad" ....

Yea, I need to get them out my head also! I think we are all searching for truth and unselfish people that can be trusted before we can move forward. I may be way off, but this poem caught my attention. It seems to be breath ,purge, breath, purge for me. I finally got some clear air!Β  Cool poem, cool pic! Keep them coming!

Awww It`s so true Jim, such a difficulty to find people we can truly trust, especially when our trust has been broken so many times before. And yes, the way you have described the structure is on point, although I never really realised it when I wrote it lol. Good Eye! Thanks for your comment, it's really appreciated. All the best. The Fish of the Sea.

Aww thanks again Tina, I think that I already have found some people in the Cosmos at least. And, from this poem, the reality is getting better than it seemed when I wrote this. But thanks so much for you kind words, they really mean so much. All the Best. The Fish of the Sea.
