The Last One to Live

The Last One to Live

The only one left is crawling to the end of the cliff

Where the bottomless pit of molten lava heated by the crust of burning vile

Earth diminished, and the living are no more, the last one to live

The wretched feeling of starvation, and the wish for survival has no more rope

The end is near, and the heartened darkness of the war of the planets, they collide

And erupt in madness and the beast will slay his tongue around my neck and I will

Be strangled in my own lust for energy, and the battle of the worlds will come to a vast disappearing blame

Of the many sins of mankind, now we live no longer, we die in the crumbs of ashes of mass murder

We have the last life, the last sound, the last feeling of pride, no more breath will we breathe
