Lead me to the Light

this doorway

so inviting

a world outside

that I can see

where will it send me 

as I step through

this empty darkness

has engulfed me

consumed my existence

I want to live

run through nature

need to be free

I see the light

all the bright colours

let me experience

wind in my hair

and the sun`s warmth

upon me cold skin

this wooden door

now stand wide open

letting me escape

walking away

from this this darkness

I shall be free again!
