Death Lessons to the Dreamer

Comforting silence caresses my mind
Fast forwarding time
Passing by unwanted not yet seen memories
Forcing me to lay with my eyes open
Choking on what could be
While remaining at ease
And smiling with no one around
Just me and a gentle breeze
Caught in realities mind game
I play my players 3 lives
Each one some would say dying
I say lying
Just butterflying into the next life
Creating a new stronger player
More aware of what he has to do to prevent the same death
In essence
Death can equal lessons
Not always to the sleep
But to the dreamer

My Brother Poet Nathan,
I welcome you to Cosmo. Â As you know, I only found you because you responded to my poem "Obstruction". Â With so many poets coming onto this site each day, it is so difficult to be exposed to a lot of their works. Â
Now in reply to this powerful one of yours, I give to you one of my poetic responses, which, when you get to know me better, you will find that I use to honor most great works that I review.
.
I've just read your powerful poem, about the silence of your mind;
Where you go to escape the reality, of injustices you find!
You think you have just "three lives", but "Cool Cats All Get Nine";
I've found a new gifted friend on Cosmo, and I hope you'll too be mine!
Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
