Let it ache

It’s night then all of the sudden it’s morning. 
Without any warning my pain returns, it doesn’t end. 
Another day without u, lonely, another fake smile so I’ll continue to pretend.
I’m trying to get rid of all this pain. 
But all my efforts are all in vain,
So let it ache,
Let it sting. 
Let it make u feel like ur nothing. 
Let it bruise,
Let it torment. 
Let it make u feel hate because of the love u spent. 

While everyone is sleeping, I’m looking out of my window at the rain. 
I’m so used to the darkness so I just sit here with no flame. 
I don’t feel anything but this loneliness that always stays the same. 
I know now that this is the price I have to pay. 
And there’s nothing anyone can do or say,
Because there’s only just one way...
To let it ache,
Let it pierce,
Let it haunt u with all ur fears. 
Let it burn,
Let it tear. 
Let it make u feel like you’ve run out of air. 
Sometimes the only way to overcome hurt,
Is to let love do it’s work. 
So let it ache.
