Let Me Take You

Let me take you to a place you have never been
Where the world is not of judgement of the native
Where if you were naked you would not be embarrassed
You could find peace in yourself for who you are
The color of the sky would be your wish, the color of the scars upon your wrist
Would disappear for no more to fear
The darkness would turn to light and your soul be freed
From the disease on the barefeet, they now become golden with shineÂ
Your spirit finds peace at last, you find faith, and hope
Voices speak but they are quiet while music plays a beaten drum
The eagles feather finds its nest upon your breast it is tatooed
For you have been saved from earths evil and now you are free
Where our native blood shed the loss of our brotherhood has been found
Let me take you there, where the sun meets the earth and the waters flow deep
So you find your spirit has forgiven the enemy which tried to take you down an empty path
Though now the oath be not foresaken
