Poem -

Lets raise a glass to the late great troubled souls

Lets raise a glass to the late great troubled souls

The ones who filled holes in hearts
The ones who eased our emptiness
The ones who got us from the start
Those kindred spirits of our consciousness

The ones who made us shiver
The ones who set our souls aglow
The ones who never failed to deliver
Who played our strings like a haunting cello

The ones who never compromised
The ones who were always there
The ones who made us love our minds
Those who came in our hour of despair

The ones that always gave us hope
The ones who came and sang their song
The ones who always helped us cope
Those who made us feel like we belonged

They may be gone, but never forgotten
When we were broken, they pieced us back together
They came when we felt oh so rotten
Those whose sacred memories we will always treasure

So, lets raise a glass to the late great troubled souls
