Letters of truth

I put my heart on paper
My soul landing on the rough white in deep blue ink
Teardrops dampening the edges as I start to think

How do I write a lifetime in such a small square 
Can you feel my emotions in each letter, do you care 

Can you feel me in the words do feelings escape the letter 
Will you fight for me, will it make me feel better
The end in words, can’t make it through the night 
Keep staring at the paper, can words make it right
