Lie

Lie

If I asked you to lie to me
would you say you always loved me
If I begged you for the truth
Would you dare to speak the words
What merry torture would you bestow
If I asked you to hurt me me again
Or sickly sweet melodies would you sing
Still pretending we were a song
What bleak imagery would you conjure
If I asked you to paint my soul
If we’re to die tonight will you listen
For the answers I won’t dare speak?
Lie to me now.

"What bleak imagery would you conjure if I asked you to paint my soul."

?????
Respect.  People that mistake infatuation for love don't have the faintest idea how to see a beautiful soul.
