What do you want to do with your life?

I ask myself as I lay in bed at night

Everyone else seems to know

But I just seem to watch each day as it goes

It’s going nowhere that’s for sure

I wake up

Go to college

Study and come home

I don’t enjoy it

I don’t want this life

I want to be out doing something that I like

Ive tried to work hard

Ive tried to act like this is what I want

But to be truthful ive known all along

When I passed my exams which I didn’t think I would

I had a career in my head but my parents misunderstood

So im doing this for them and I hope they smile

because I want them to know ive only done this so I never see them cry.
