Life

Realisation its gone im waiting for life to begin
That day i am going to wake happy in my skin
Bouyed with a life accomplished retiring, reflecting
But here i sit somewhat perplexed at its meaning
Could probably condense it down to a few weeks
Highs out of all sixty yrs thats looking fairly bleak
I guess im just one who expects to much from life
A glass half full guy an existence full of strife
The ladder that slips as i climb for the light
A smile followed by a custard pie to blight
Banana skins a plenty along the way i plot
A change in direction fulfilled then stop
Having to much fun my oh my
Photographer ? We will blind him in one eye
Now its antiques lets mess with his brain
Fluid in his head confusion shall reign
And so it goes awaiting surgery more strife
My life again awaiting the surgeons knife
