Life and Love

A drop of rain falls and hits the window, I know it will turn into a wonderful pitter-patter

In the spring I can hardly wait for the tulips to bloom and blossoms to bud on the trees

The birds are so unique, with their song, they chatter in the early morning for a wake up

The smell of  freshly brewed coffee, and the sizzling sound of the bacon frying in the pan

Opening up the newspaper, looking at the sports section seeing if my team won

My cat looking up at me, he speaks, and then jumps up onto my lap

I go back to my bedroom, all the covers are wrapped around a long legged man

I curl up next to him, he holds me tight and says, I love you

Then we make love and pant, caressing the early morning with affection

Life and love are such a wonderful match, take time to live it, feel it, and see it
