Life Goes On

I still miss her
I miss our talks 
I miss it all
But life goes on 

I still feel sick 
When I repeatedly realize 
We will never be again 
She left her mark on my heart 
Still life goes on 

I'm broken 
I'm damaged 
I can't cry
For fear I wont stop
But still life goes on 

The pain comes & goes
Like waves hitting the shore
At timrs almost paralyzing 
And I wonder if I can keep going 
Still life goes on 

I believed we would last 
That she was the one 
We conquered so much 
Now I stand here alone 
But still life goes on 

Why did I stay so long 
Let myself get so broken 
And lose so much 
Realizing again that with or without her
Life goes on
