Thank You

I never met you in life
I only ever saw you at your end
Yet you warn me of coming strife
It seems our paths were destined to blend

It means so much to me that you visit
That you think so much of me to help
I’m not your blood, but you see me as worth it
It’s a comfort to know you’re there to help

You never scare me or talk
I just see you in a crowd
You always pass by at a walk
But your message is clear & loud

Thank you for knowing my heart
For seeing me thru all my flaws
Thank you for being here, at least in part
For helping me, making me your cause

I wish I’d had the chance to meet you
Now you seem to be my guardian angel
But thru others I’ve gotten to know you
I’m blessed you see me as faithful
