Life is a book

Life is a book

They say looks are the greatest attraction
But what of books? Mans greatest contraption
Stories they do weave
Ensuring you won't want to leave

Endless fields of land
Spread out before man
And a glamorous ocean
Full of emotion

An invite is never needed
As your passion has been seeded
Turn the pages
Through the ages

Looks do not determine, the treasures within
It's the insides that matter, and to disagree would be a sin

Life is a book, but it is not pretty or new
It is as old as this world, maybe older
And has been dirtied through all that time
But that just adds to the story
And now it is your turn to make your mark
But what words will you write with?
