LIFE JOURNEY : POEM BY WILLIAMSJI MAVELI
LIFE JOURNEY

The stone, it seems, will always stand,
A mountain's might, a grasping hand.
But wind will wear, and rivers flow,
And even mountains learn to grow.
The deepest night, a starless void,
Where hope is lost, and joy's destroyed.
Yet dawn will break, a gentle hue,
And paint the darkness, fresh and new.
The fiercest storm, a raging beast,
That tears and roars, and knows no peace.
But clouds will part, and skies will clear,
And sunbeams dry the fallen tear.
So let the moments, swift and fleet,
Like whispers pass, or pounding beat.
No constant state, no endless chain,
But shifting sands, and falling rain.
Don't bind your heart to fleeting pain,
Nor clutch at joy, that must remain.
For change is life, a constant sway,
And winds will blow, and lead the way.
Release the grip, and let it be,
The ebb and flow, eternally.
For nothing stays, and all things mend,
Upon the breeze, life's journey end
