Lights Out

Lights Out

When the lights go out,
What do you see?
Are you in complete isolation?
Or are your fears set free?
The lights in my house are on,
But my electricity is running low.
The honest reason?
That's something I don't know.
I don't know if the voices are in my house,
Or outside the door.
Every time I check,
I find a letter on the floor,
Addressed to D'angelo.
And he doesn't live here,
Not anymore.
In fact, he hasn't for years.
