At the school where we studied?
A kind of strange inspiration):
We stood either side of her
We were teenage boys
With a crush
Arms round her shoulders;
She seemed not to mind.
  We felt a kind of affection for her
An odd situation we were in:
  Teenage boys with a girl
We loved (or at least I did)
Each with arms round her shoulders
With feelings not hid.
She smiling; accepting
Nature only half restrained.

There in that moment:
At school,
After the last bell had rung.
  I can look back and smile.
