Lilliput wings. A little story ditty .

Lips parted, she begins to speak
Through silent tears. 
In darkness she reveals
Her innermost fears. 
Under a watchful moon 
She screams her desire, 
Until the sky danced and swayed 
In the shadow of her fire.  
Her vengeful soul
Her demon released, 
She relinquishes control
To the realm of sleep. 
And dream she does 
Of hateful things 
Of claws ripping and tearing
At her wings. 
She yells out, eyes shut 
Until all the world can hear,  
This angel being tormented 
By the demons of fear. 
the world comes to comfort her
Crooning a melody of peace
Praying for her recovery 
Until the moon retreats. 
Upon the morn of the next day
She awakes to a new day, 
And forgets about her demons, 
Who almost!  got their way.
