THE LINGUIST

THE LINGUIST

Communication is there to help us grow
Converse to others of what we know....
What we need...
How we feel...
Where we are...
Is this real...??
My question is why do we divide?
This necessary way for us to strive?
How has language formed a barrier?
To understand this...do I need a translator...?
And a word in itself converts to another
When uttered abroad...
Spoken by our lover...
Shouted in anger...
Whispered in haste...
Opposing body language...
Expressions become two-faced.
Add an accent...
Change a few letters...
A new word is formed...
Does it sound any better...?
Give it a hyphen...
Add a new meaning...
Make letters silent...
It's become so deceiving.

The linguist needs to speak up now
This universe is cursed....
How does one reach their full potential..?
If human beings cant converse.
