The Little Rocket

The Little Rocket

Snug in a box

Stored under the stairs

Waiting for the moment

I can join all the flares

When the day arrives

We`re brought into the light

To be opened and checked

All ready for the night

The bonfire is burning

Such a crackling sound

The sparklers are lit

As people gather around

Now that the box is open

Feel a little unsteady

For we`re set up in place

As the show is now ready

Lots of bangs and colours

As the sky is lit up so bright

One by one we are send up

Fireworks on Bonfire night.

It`s that time of year again, when fireworks are ignited and the sky is full of bright flashes of light.

Great bangs and whizzing flares along with laughter can be heard.  Bonfire Night is here.
