Little sister

Little sister

Little sister, my brittle sister
Yet to lose your glister
Viewing life through curious eyes
Even as it´s just demise and goodbyes
Little sister, my unsullied sister
I don´t have the heart to resist her
To take her Big sister away from her
To ruin her

I wish for her peace more than I wish for my decease

Little sister, my pride and joy
Yet to destroy
I´ll shield you from all anguish
Your happiness is my only wish
Little sister, all young and free
I won´t let her be broken like me
To lose her glister like me
To end up like me

Even if I must fight fate itself, I will never let her hate herself

For your sake, Little sister
Big sister will stay a little longer

As I read this, I feel the strength that can be born from the love for another. Wonderful read
