Live without living

Die without dying

Live without living

If you can live without living
Can you die without dying?
I suppose they’re the same thing
When life hangs on by a string

Even as the soul rots
and you run out of thoughts
and your tongue’s in knots
your mind in tatters
your heart shatters
and nothing matters

They’re still there
So you’re still here
Even if you want to disappear
