~ LIVING THE DREAM ~
{life's dance}
Awakening, she found she was still dreaming
Still sleeping a lavender-lidded sleep
A delicately constructed purgatory
Between being asleep, and just being
Which began to make some sense...
Then, a tiny burst of cloud-like upheaval
Her mind a shattered roof of glassy conception
As she sat straight up within her bed
She swore, in an intimate prayer
That she'd truly tasted being dead....
She'd been reborn into life's dance
A symbiotic ballet of truthful romance
Facing a wall of force-fed comprehension
A minuet, between elegance and tension
A dazzling display of light in the darknessĀ
Shining blades of bluntness, sizzling into sharpness
She swore, Never Again....
Never again would she take for granted
The gift of wonder, found in sleep supplanted
By the watchful eye within Life's Dance,
By the wisdom found in taking a chance,
By the restorative nature, of morphing scenes
Oh the genius of Life's Dance, found in her dreams....

Exquisite n creative phrases , lifted me right off the ground with such poetry/the ballet of truthful romance, the minuet between elegance n tension...stuff like that is why I like poetry...bravo baby...really good!
