Lo Mein And Long Mane

Every Saturday we have a hot date, we do errands and get our meal for the day;
Sometimes we go to an upscale venue, a first-class Chinese buffet!
These places are a dime a dozen, but this one is “la crème de la crème”;
Their dishes are far superior, to ninety per cent of them!

Plus, their lunch fee is so nominal, just eight bucks per senior citizen;
To have a most magnificent repast, enhanced by special blends!
Linda’s favorite is the sweet potato sesame balls, her taste buds go berserk;
They have lightly sauteed squid meat, which for me, is quite a perk!

We always get a booth there, so we are sitting side by side;
Between the Lo Mein and Linda’s long mane, my passion I cannot hide!
Each time we get a new course, I whisper into her ear;
“Of all the goodies offered, you are my favorite one my dear”!
