Losing Myself

I'm losing myself.
Losing myself to the sadness and despair,
Losing the happiness that once was there,
I'm losing myself.

I'm screaming.
Screaming out for the girl I once knew,
Screaming for happiness and emotions brand new,
I'm screaming.

I'm looking.
Looking out at the misery on my face,
Looking in to find the pain to erase,
I'm looking.

I'm hoping.
Hoping for someone who will help me and care,
Hoping to find the person that I lost to despair,
I'm hoping.

I'm talking,
Talking to a loved one, a friend or a foe,
Talking to someone who'll make my misery go,
I'm talking.

I'm healing.
Healing the wounds and silencing the pain,
Healing the happiness and making myself the same,
I'm healing.
And finally I'm almost there.
