 As you built up your own cage

Max, thanks ever so much for popping into one of my older pieces. Yeah I needed to get those thoughts out of my head. So I could look at it and remind myself I can do better. Never settle for anything less than happy. Cos otherwise you will end up miserable. And you have loads of potential, so never let anyone make you doubt thatÂ

Now aint that just the way it so often bloomin goes eh' .. but when one's back is firmly up against the wall .. one must make a swift decision .. either do summat about it or grin n bear it ................. doing something about it conjours up the image of strength, resolve and a kind of dynamism ... while grinning & baring it makes me think more of a victim and whilst that may be rather contentious .. I will have to re-visit later before passing final judgement since it is all to easy to pin the victim label on others and I so detest any form of labelling .......... verily much enjoyed regardless

Wow Neville I loved reading your comment here on this poem. I wrote this a while ago now. You know I found its the one cheating that gets paranoid.
