Poem -

Lost Intimacy

I am a broken smile that puts pieces together to look happy
Walking around like life is a breeze
But I’m slowly fading away from reality
Then you came into the picture
You sweet talked your way into my
bitter yet sweet lil heart
I became attached
You pulled me in like a tide crashing against the shore
Lemme ease yo pain and let yo brain drip
Flowed from your tongue and sinked into my mind
Said you weren’t like the others
In the blink of an eye you walked out my life
As you left my heart followed
My dark soul went back to its old ways
