Poem -
Lost Love
I`ve loved i`ve lost in this life of.. mine,
but its hard to love now, at my.. time.
I`m older and wiser and careful.. too.
iv`e lived and learned that all, are not true
There`s someone out there for all they say
but tread careful my.. motto of the day
Be not the fool, and fall head over heels,
take care of your heart and what it reveals.
Perhaps it will happen and i`ll find the one
who will give me all.. the moon stars,and sun.
For now i`ll tread slowly, as i don`t trust.. too much,
but i know we need love... and that human.. touch..

Thanks for your wise words,that is my problem. to trust again, its hard when you have been hurt badly, but i think i am ready to try again .. 7 years is a long time to not let any one in , also confidence and believing in yourself plays a part as you said "it comes from within first " your a lovely lady cherie, thanks for commenting i appreciate it so much .... xox debs
