Lost but searching

All that was lost of me,
has yet to be found.
Uncovered, unearthed,
screaming with no sound.

My body remains,
but my soul is gone.
I have been searching,
for far too long.

When I return,
I won't be the same.
My mind, my thoughts,
no longer in vain.
