does it end in pain and tearsĀ Ā 
does it come from broken promisesĀ 
I wish I knew what it wasĀ Ā 
what is loveĀ 
Is it gentleĀ 
Does it startĀ  with hope and joyĀ 
does it come from trustĀ 
I wish I knewĀ 
what it wasĀ 
it all just a mess too meĀ 
Nothing I could really do to understand what love isĀ Ā 
Does it start with you and meĀ
