Love Has No Color

Love has no color, Love has no name,
Love has no fear, love has no shame.
Black, or white, Indian or Asian
Mexican, Hispanic or Cuban,
We all bleed the same color,
We should respect and cherish and love one another.
Our hearts beat the same, we all laugh, we all cry,
We are all unique in more than one way.
We overcame slavery, and overcame segregation,
We are no longer separated, or isolated into a divided nation.
We stand strong hand in hand, together as one, united we stand.
We can’t help who we call our friends, we can’t help who we fall in love with,
We can’t help who be form lasting bonds with, we can’t help that we instantly click.
Why do you stop and stare? Are they not the image you imagined? Why do you judge,
Haven’t we been secluded long enough?
Why can’t a catholic love a Jew?
Why must they look like me or you?
Why must the rich love the rich only, but the poor gets overlooked,
And we wonder why misery continues to haunt our souls because we keep trying to catch the same fish with the same dirty hook,
Though love is blind when you feel it, it reveals its true color, you start to see its radiant colors more as it grows and is uncovered.
As your feet walk across the sand, our feet sink together, we will fight this battle together forever.
We share the same heart, thought we are two different shades,
God knew our purposes and carved us all different ways as each of us was made.
Hope is found when obstacles are overcome, we lean on each other, and for relationships on trust,
Sail ships together or endless journeys, indifferences lead to peace, and in peace there is love.
Even in the chaos, relationships can form, because love has no color, no boundaries are set,
You can fight love all you want but true love you can’t forget.
Though I may look different, I may not feel the same,
but look into my eyes, and see what flows through my veins,
ashes to ashes, dust to dust, we all begin and end the same,
all created in natures design, God didn’t create prejudice thoughts, so who is to blame?
So, erase the smothering smoke cloud of hate,
As we ride this rocket of love to heaven’s gate,
We enter together as one, as we travel earths intended path,
Our bond can’t be broken, because love has no color we are free at last.
Let the war be over, to you I surrender,
Embrace me my love, be kind to me and tender, let our hearts make new memories for us to always cherish look back and remember.
Love Is pure and love has respect and affection,
Love has honor, and faithfulness, love has protection.
Love has no jealousy love has no color, love is a symphony,
Pierced and touched by this peaceful melody.
As we listen and rewrite history,
As we drift on the river, to our new destiny.
Love is a crystal so clear, naked but never afraid,
To show just who we are, our spirits fill this place.
We all are indifferent we all make mistakes,
But the most important part is learning along the way.
Listen to each other, be there through the good and the bad,
Be the best friend that the other never had.
Lend a shoulder, wipe their tears,
Show comfort and ease all fears.
Love each other unconditionally,
because love has no color, let’s leave a legacy.
Let’s show the world that we are different, transparent like glass,
