Love In Between

Love In Between

I'm stuck with your love - how nice they said,
that you should be so fortunate at this time,
because I know that you're the best friend of mine,
I look to you and know that you're the same as me.

I can't change, have to abide with your comments,
even tho' many of them don't seem to make sense;
would you like your freedom back, no more nagging me,
you'd be sad, having lost all my wonderful mystery.

You can see that we love each other, an open book;
what was your greatest time, moments in another's bed?
Ah, you say that I am the best, is that because I do
what the others didn't or give in like they did too?

I'm glad I'm 'stuck' - don't want all that foreplay again,
although we still do and you don't have to return home.

Being Me

Ouch!  Bittersweet is what I get from this. It is awful when one half of a couple loves more than the other. I hope it improves for them both... Which ever way it works out x
