Love can seem like a scenic drive on a one way road

Or a round-a-bout circling a drought stricken fountain

But never the latter with her

She makes my heart chant in Morse code

Encourages my stomach to take flight

She makes me hotter than the sand when you first remove a sandal
She’s without a doubt my life’s future preamble

Her voice distracts more than mediation during a tornado

She brings me to a time when directions were written in runes

Walks me on roads that are yet to be laid

Prevails in my commitment to an arousing grade

My love for her parallels cupid’s arrow
