Love is like the rain

Treasure it while you have it

Because you never know when it will come back

You can never hold it in your hands

And if you try, it slips through your fingers

It may leave and make a dry and lonely place

And return to make the whole world beautiful again

It replenishes and refreshes

It helps things grow into the best they can be

It falls where it may

Be it accepting, dry soil

Or repelling, dusty pavement

But it will fall there none the less
