Poem -

A Lovely, Lonely Dove

Once I thought that I had knew what I wanted from a guy;
Never did I think or felt that it was right,
So know you know why I put up a fight.

I was pushed, tugged, pinched, harassed,
And painted as easy and hard to get.

Now I just lie here in bed,
Filling my head with too many fantasies,
Always wondering who will be the next man who will get drunk enough to hit onto me.

I know that my time will come,
to always seemed to be loved.

This simple dove has found that good guys are the ones that are always gone.

So where does that leave a lonely, lovely dove?
