Loves unlimited

Is it the scars she carries?
Not those of the flesh,
superficial and to heal, to be forgotten
but scars that criss-cross her soul
The ones that steal innocence
that never fully convalesce
Is it why she claims not to be strong?
That resilience is not hers to possess
That she tries n yet fails
Like a ship that sailed leaving her behind
what I see
To admit that takes a courage all its own
I see a strength in her to be admired
With the means to inspire
The ability to fan flames of a dying fire
In simple ways smiles and laughs eliceted
With a heart that many lament for lack of
Weather whole, or held by hands in pieces
This is not weakness, it is a fineness
And for them she loves, she loves unlimited
