It's for reasons that weren't up his sleeve

I'm even lucky that he left
Of love, he was a theft

I'm lucky for the way the sun rises
I'm lucky for the day of endless surprises

I'm lucky for the way Izzi looks to me
For how she holds my hand, crossing the street

I'm lucky in the way of my friends
Who have taught me that true love, never ends

I'm beyond lucky to have her in my life
And lucky that he's coming in
