Mac And Beth

A student named Mackenzie, Mac for short, arrived at his English Lit class;
He could not believe how lucky he was, seated across from a lovely lass!
She smiled at him, he smiled back, and asked her what was her name;
She replied “Elizabeth, Beth for short”, she was hot and he needed a flame!

The Professor came in, they opened their books, and got quite a surprise;
Shakespeare’s play, the famous Macbeth, was right before their eyes!
At classes end, they walked to the hall, his heart pounding a very high rate;
He looked in her eyes, uttered these words, “Would you like to go on a date”?

She answered, “of course”, her heart pounding too, for he was a quite handsome guy;
And if things went great, well who knows, perhaps she’d give love a try!
Not rolling in dough, they went economy, he took her to Burger King;
They ordered Whoppers to go, sealed with Scotch tape, a picnic them to bring!

After that, still hungry, and wanting dessert, to another place they went;
And each killed off a “Dunkin” doughnut, but their energy still was not spent!
They went for booze, at a bar named Banquo’s, ordered two specials of the day;
The drinks were called, “The Witches Brew”, they each put three away!

They began to study about Macbeth, and were amazed at their similarities;
On their next date at White Castle, they pledged their love, knowing they were meant to be!
That’s the end of my story, I’ve run out of words, I’m “washing my hands” of this tale;
