Maiden In Love

Maiden In Love

There once lived a fair maiden who had fallen for the local carpenter,
She knew that her father would never approve of her choice,
She was above him,
But that didn't stop her, she would sneak out and meet with him when the moon came out.

She was overjoyed when she around him,
However, her perfect world didn't last forever,
Soon her father found our that she had been sneaking out to see the one she loved,
He forbid her from seeing him and she sat on her bed weeping,
Finally, she'd had enough and couldn't bare to be apart from the one she loved,

She snuck out one night never to return,
Neither she nor the carpenter were ever seen again,
But she was happy with never going back,
She already had everything she could ever want in the man she loved.
