Mama's lullaby

My mama once sang me a lullaby to soothe the hurt away
She sang in a beautiful tone and afterwards would pray
I know the prayer went to heaven and Jesus was proud
Because once the prayer was said tears fell from the clouds
The prayer was quite simple yet complex indeed
And little did she know she was planting a seed
Because times would get tough but I'd be strong
And though my trials for Jesus I would long
I know my mamma sees my mistakes and cries
But God wants her to see the lies
Because saten plants ideas that I have failed 
But God says my mistakes will lead to accomplishment prevailed
At the end of the day God is by my side
And by His rules I will abide
With that said I can't go wrong
He is what keeps me strong
So mama I know you're hurt but you raised me right
So don't be sad when I shed a tear
For God will always wipe them clear
So when I cry from life it's just another seed
Wait for the growth to witness the tree
