Man And Woman

When a man has a busy career he's providing for his family. 
When a woman has a busy career she's neglecting her family. 
Some men crave a woman with smarts and power, 
Once they get married everyone thinks she must become a "domesticated housewife." 
Where cleaning and cooking and juggling children have to become your life. 
Our worth and beauty is measured by our designer clothes and height of our heels. 
When a woman misses her man she becomes to needy. 
But, if she doesn't she's not trying anymore. 
What do we keep trying for? 
If we dress to conservatively, we become unattractive to the male species. 
But, if we dress like how we're told; we get demeaned to slut and whore. 
Our personality and intelligence comes second and third to our jean size. 
But, even if the number is low we get labeled with some sort of eating disorder. 
I will never be the woman you imagine I should be, 
Especially if it means it's wrong to be me.
