It is a time of great personal reflection and faith. Easter portrays the spirit of Jesus resurrection that marks the culmination of the holy week. writers all over the world have taken a look at the holiday from a number of vantage points, much the same way the modern world views the holiday. There is the deeply religious aspect, which is the essence of the tradition, and the more secular aspect, which celebrates the joyful side of the holiday and coincides with the changing of the seasons.There are many ways people celebrate the holiday. Different cultures have their own unique traditions that accompany the commemorations. Some are solemn and others are joyful. Each of us brings his or her own family, faith or national customs to the occasion, customs that symbolize for us the meaning of the holiday.  

Some people mark the season by making a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Others go to Rome. Wherever you celebrate the season, the sanctity of the Easter tradition is created by a spirit of reflection on the significance of the events that you and your loved ones bring to the day. No matter how divergent the particular practices, the message of the holiday remains the same, and is central to any form or any kind of commemoration. Whether it is an entirely faith based experience, or you favor hunting colorful eggs and cuddling bunnies with your kids, there is a common thread of hope and a spirit of renewal imbued in the day.
